SAHS TEAM WINS THIRD IN AG BUILD-OFF COMPETITION - The SAHS team of (L-R) Jarrenn Jenkins, Autumn McCallumn, Diego Cobarrubius and Cer’Mydrick Kelly won 3rd place in an Ag Mechanics Build-Off competition that was held here last Thursday. SAHS Ag teacher Jessee Harrison (R) said there were 20 teams from all over Texas that participated in the competition.

LIONS CLUB SPORTING CLAY SHOOT - The annual San Augustine Lions Club Sporting Clay Shoot will be held this Saturday, March 1st, at Fairway Farm in San Augustine. The event is an annual fundraiser for the San Augustine Lions Club and all proceeds will be used to support the Texas Lions Children’s Camps, eye exams and eye glasses, hearing tests and hearing aids, scholarships, Child Service Board, Empty Stocking Fund, San Augustine Boy’s and Girl’s Club and other local charities. Title Sponsors for this year’s event are CHI St. Luke’s Health, Hightower, Franklin and James Law Firm, San Augustine County Cowboy Church, Shelby Savings Bank and Parker Refrigeration.
