Yellowpine Baptist Church 2025 Revival
July 23, 2025
Yellowpine Baptist Church is planning revival services with Bro. Levi Cohorst as evangelist. These services will begin at 7:00 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, July 24-26, 2025. There will also be special music during the services.
Pastor T.A. Lane states that the church is excited to welcome Bro. Cohorst to Yellowpine and Sabine County. The guest speaker lives in Timpson, where he serves as pastor of Timpson Missionary Baptist Church and has served on the faculty of Louisiana Missionary Baptist Institute and Seminary (LMBIS) in Minden.
Growing up in Gary, he was saved at the age of 9 at Pine Springs Baptist Camp and was baptized by Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Gary. When he was 17, he answered the call to preach and was licensed by Hopewell. He graduated high school a year later and began attending LMBIS in August of 2012. In 2016 he received his Bachelor's of Theology and in 2017 his Master of Divinity.
While attending seminary he worked with the youth at Mt. Bethel Church in Gary from 2012 to 2016. In February of 2016 Timpson Missionary Baptist Church called him to be their pastor and it was there he was ordained and still pastors today. He serves as the clerk for the Shelby County Local Association of Missionary Baptist Churches and on the Board of Directors for the Texas Mission Builders.
Everyone is invited to attend revival at Yellowpine Baptist Church, located at the intersection of State Hwy. 87 South and FM 2343 in Sabine County's Yellowpine community (125 Scrappin Valley Road). For information, contact Bro. Lane at 409-382-8765.
