Funeral services for Mr. I.O. Burrell will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at County Line Baptist Church with Rev. Gaylon Taylor as Eulogist and Rev. Michael Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in the County Line Cemetery in San Augustine. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Sid Roberts Funeral Home in Nacogdoches.

He was born November 12, 1936 in San Augustine to Mollie Berry Burrell and Eugene Burrell. Mr. I O Burrell passed away on July 9, 2025 in Hemphill.

He leaves to cherish his wife Mary Cotton Burrell ; one son, Gerald Burrell all of San Augustine; one daughter, Sharron Harris of Missouri City, TX; one God Son, Jabrian Grimes of Lufkin; 2 brothers, Albert Burrell and Leo Burrell both of San Augustine ; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
