SCOTT ERVING RODABOUGH JR.
July 14, 2025
Scott Erving Rodabough Jr., 81, passed away on July 8, 2025, in Houston, Texas. Born on January 21, 1944, in Houston, to Scott Erving Rodabough, Sr. and Lorraine Henrietta Davidson Rodabough, he spent much of his life in the city before relocating to Sabine County in 2015.
Scott was a proud member of the Window Glaziers Union 1778 in Houston, dedicating years of skilled labor to his trade. His passion for craftsmanship extended beyond glasswork—he was also a talented motorcycle fabricator and the owner of Columbia Cycles in Houston. Through his shop, he built not only custom bikes but also a community of fellow enthusiasts who shared his love for the open road.
A true free spirit, Scott found joy and freedom riding his Harley wherever the road would take him. He cherished time spent working on motorcycles, catching up with old buddies, and listening to what he called “good” music—an essential soundtrack to his life’s journey.
Scott is remembered fondly by his close friends Larry Jurek and wife, Wendi, of Milam, and Gale Sanchez of Hemphill. Their enduring friendship was a testament to the bonds he formed throughout his life.
May Scott’s memory bring comfort to those who knew him and may the roar of a Harley always echo in tribute to his spirit.
Cremation arrangements were handled by Starr Funeral Home of Hemphill.
