San Augustine Elementary Year End Events

San Augustine Elementary school has a lot going on in the month of May, events you won’t want to miss. Before we get into the May events, let us remind you about the Family Night at the Book Fair, tonight, Thursday, April 24th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Coming up on Friday, May 2nd, will be field day. Class times for field day events are as follows: Kinder will go outside at 8:30a.m.; 1st grade will begin at 9:30; 2nd graders will begin at 10:30 a.m.; 3rd grade class will begin 11:30 a.m.; 4th grade will begin at 12:30 p.m. and the 5th grade class will begin at 1:30 p.m. Remember to bring money for concessions. 

Monday, May 5th, is the Cinco De Mayo celebration.

Elementary Awards will be held each day at 7:45 a.m. in the SAES Gymnasium from Monday, May 19th to Friday, May 16th, with 1st grade awards being Monday, May 12th, 2nd grade being Tuesday, May 13th, 3rd grade being Wednesday, May 14th, 4th grade being Thursday, May 15th and 5th grade being Friday, May 16th.

There will be a Pre-K program held on Monday, May 19th in the cafeteria at 9:00 a.m. Kinder graduation will be held on Tuesday, May 20th also in the cafeteria. Senior Walk with the Elementary students will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the ceremony will begin at 9:00 a.m. All visitors to the school must check in with the front office.

Wednesday, May 21st will be the last day for students with and early release.
