SWORN IN - In the City of San Augustine Election, there was 1 seat which was contested, SA City Council Position 2. Incumbent Pamela Nickelberry Teel won re-election with Mayor Leroy Hughes (not pictured), Council members Marcus Hafford, Juan Diaz, Jr., Dan Fussell and Herman Wilson running unopposed, therefore, being elected to another 2 year term in office. CHRISTMAS LIGHTS - The San Augustine Garden Club has been working hard decorating the downtown square for the Christmas season. They would like to welcome all to the Courthouse Lighting Ceremony Friday, November 22nd. Christmas Lights on the Square will be turned on at 5:30pm, followed by a dedication, holiday music, cookies, and hot chocolate. Pictured above are members of the Garden Club taking a short lunch break before getting back to the decorating.
