GUEST SPEAKERS - San Augustine Main Street was the program speakers for the luncheon held on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. Main Street Director, Shelby Curtis gave an update on the Smithsonian Traveling Museum on Main Street exhibit, and Main Street Board member and “Windows Into History” project Chair, Ellen Reeder spoke about the interest the project has stirred in the surrounding communities as well as the Texas Historical Commission, who has invited her to speak about the project at their Annual Convention next April. LOCAL FIRST RESPONDERS HONORED - Pictured above are some of the local First Responders who were honored during the Glenda Harrison Memorial 9/11 Remembrance event which was held on September 11th in the San Augustine District Courtroom.
