ELIZABETH HARLEY FORE

Funeral services for Elizabeth Harley Fore, of Pineland were held Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Strickland Crossing Church of God by Bro. Charles Moody and Bro. Curtis White. Burial followed in the Lott Cemetery. Affectionately known as Aunt Coutie, she passed away on September 7, 2024, in Pineland at the age of 92. Born on September 25, 1931, in Pineland to William Harley and Minnie Bell McClelland Harley, she dedicated her life to her family as a loving housewife and mother.

Elizabeth's life was marked by her commitment to caring for her family and her community. She was a lifelong member of the Strickland Crossing Church of God, where she was deeply involved in various church activities. Elizabeth found joy in quilting, a hobby that not only brought her personal satisfaction but also warmth and comfort to those around her.

She leaves behind a loving family: her daughter, Kathryn Welch and husband, George; son, Gary Fore and wife, Barbara; grandchildren, Jeffrey Coulter and wife, Heilyn, John Wesley Welch and fiancé, Diane, Teresa Jones, Leslie Whitmire and husband, Justin, Travis Fore and wife, Anjee, Tayla Welch and husband, Tristen, Ty Fore and wife, Jessica, Crystal Medley and husband, Brian, and Jessica Motes. Elizabeth was also a proud great-grandmother to 23 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren, along with many honorary grandchildren who adored her.
