San Augustine Methodist Church Sign Upgrade

With a name change and new directions, San Augustine Methodist Church also has new signs on Main Street. In 2022, the church chose to leave the United Methodist Church and join the Global Methodist Church. The congregation found itself more aligned with the beliefs and direction of the Global Methodist Church and has officially been a part of this new Methodist movement since January 2023. Formerly known as First United Methodist Church, the church now goes by a simplified name: San Augustine Methodist Church. This new name demonstrates the congregation's passion for the well-being of San Augustine and the church's deep, historic roots in Methodism that continue in the present day through the Global Methodist Church. The congregation especially expresses gratitude to Josh Ponder's crew with Real Life and to Ronny Caston for help installing the new signs.
