SFA Students Become First in Nation to Fly Tecnam Aircraft’s Newest Plane

Stephen F. Austin State University’s aviation sciences partner, HCH Aviation, became the first U.S. recipients of the state-of-the-art Tecnam P-Mentor two-seat trainer airplanes. Provided by Tecnam Aircrafts, an Italian aircraft manufacturer and the oldest in the world, the new airplanes will give SFA aviation students unique expertise in the most modern technology available.

HOUSTON CURATOR VISITS THE EZEKIEL CULLEN HOUSE - Visited by Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (MFAH) Michelle Verret and Assistant Alexandra Drake. The pair were able to view cabinets made by San Augustine local cabinetmakers, Joseph Palmer and Joseph Baker, circa 1840s. The furniture was donated by members of the Duke family, descendants of Amaziah Eugene Baker, the brother-in-law of Joseph Palmer and father of Joseph Baker. Mrs. Lois Lacy (l) and Betty Oglesbee (c,l) gave the pair a personal tour.
